BREATH呼吸

BREATH brings observations of women’s lived conditions into contact with botanical forms. Roots and stems are ground into pulp to make recycled paper, on which the artist depicts flowers that are neither docile nor necessarily suited to cultivation. The plants become both bodies and breathing presences, refusing an idea of nature as merely delicate or decorative.

《呼吸》把对女性处境的观察与植物形态并置。艺术家将根茎磨碎后加入纸浆，在自制再生纸上描绘并不温顺、也未必适合被驯养的花卉。植物在纸面上既像身体，也像持续呼吸的生命，使“自然”不再只是柔弱或装饰性的隐喻。

The work retains recognisable botanical forms while selecting plants that demand difficult conditions, produce intense smells, or feed on other organisms. Root and stem fibres make the paper more than a background for images; it becomes a body carrying traces of life. Approaching the surfaces, the viewer is invited to sense plants breathing through fibres, flowers, and concealed spaces.

作品保留花卉真实形态，同时选择对环境要求苛刻、气味强烈或具有捕食性的植物。材料中的根茎纤维使纸张不只是图像的背景，而成为带有生命痕迹的身体。观看者靠近这些纸面时，也被邀请感受草木在纤维、花蕊和隐秘角落中的一呼一吸。
