Drifting

Drifting emerged from a short journey through the UK in early 2026. London’s urban landscape, the northern Highlands, rail travel, and the migrations of marine animals are brought together as a moving-image poem about foreignness, identity, and uncertain direction. Drawing on the legend of the Selkie, the work considers how a body is seen and classified while drifting between belonging and estrangement.

《漂流》源于艺术家 2026 年初在英国的短期旅行。伦敦的城市景观、北方高地、铁路与海上动物的迁徙被并置在一起，构成一段关于异乡经验、身份标签与方向感的影像诗。作品借用 Selkie 传说，思考一个身体如何被观看、归类，并在归属与陌生之间持续漂流。
